Mrs. Dermi's Es Dawet is Solo's legendary traditional refreshment beverage. This legendary beverage contains cendol (green rice flour jelly), black sticky rice, Indonesian marrow porridge (rice flour pudding), tapai, basil seeds, liquid sugar, coconut milk, and ice cubes. It had been selling es dawet since the beginning of Pasar Gedhe in 1930, and the third generation now holds it. FYI, President Joko Widodo love this drink.   • Keraton Kasunanan
    Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat, more famously known as Keraton Kasunanan, was built by Sri Susuhan Pakubuwono II (Sunan PB II) in 1744 as a replacement Kartasura Palace which was destroyed in the Geger Pecinan incident in 1743.
